The Mental Health Therapist position is designed to support the mental health needs of students across elementary, middle, and high schools within the district. The therapist will be responsible for providing therapy services, collaborating with educational staff, and ensuring that students receive the necessary support for their mental health needs. This role is crucial in creating a supportive environment for students and their families.

  • Bill Medicaid as needed through school model (record keeping for billing services).
  • Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and building administrators to implement therapeutic goals.
  • Provide family, group, and individual therapy for students.
  • Support elementary students and families in multiple buildings.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to assist students and families.
  • Work with families and community agencies to create wrap-around support structures for individual students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by district level administrators.
  • License as a Clinical Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker required.
  • Eligibility for licensure within one year.
  • LCPC or LCSW to support needs of students at elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Therapy experience of up to three years preferred.
  • School therapeutic experience preferred.
