About The Position

As a Mental Health Therapist at Calo Programs, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to support the growth and healing of adolescents. You’ll create personalized treatment plans and provide individual, group, and family therapy using relational, systemic and experimental modalities. Every day, you'll help teens process their emotions, strengthen relationships, and build effective coping strategies -- all while having the unique opportunity to partner with over 40 Golden Retrievers in our canine therapy program, enriching your therapeutic approach. Requirements

  • Fully licensed: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) & LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker.)
  • Provisional Licenses: PLPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor), PLMFT (Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) & LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker). Supervision provided!
  • Must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
  • Passion for counseling teens and young adults

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in residential settings and relational, experiential, and systemic modalities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy : Conduct therapy sessions that integrate trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to create meaningful change in families.
  • Personalized Caseloads : Manage a focused caseload of up 6-8 clients, providing high-quality, individualized care with a commitment to family programming and parent coaching.
  • Collaborate in Integrated Care : Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists, medical providers, and nurses to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in a holistic, integrated environment.
  • Timely Documentation : Complete accurate and thorough clinical documentation within required timeframes, ensuring compliance and continuity of care for clients.
  • Cultural Competency and Adolescent Development : Apply developmentally appropriate and culturally competent care, addressing the unique psychological needs of adolescents and teens.
  • Residential Therapies: Utilize Adventure Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and experiential methods to support healing.
