About The Position

Empowering Minds Resource Center provides high-quality mental health services to diverse communities. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team and provide therapeutic services that make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.

Position Overview
The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments/diagnostic evaluations, providing individual and group therapy, developing and monitoring treatment plans, and documenting progress. This role requires the ability to work with a diverse client population using various treatment approaches.

Requirements

• Active master’s level license in Maryland: LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC
• At least 1 year of comparable clinical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to working with diverse populations

Nice To Haves

• Active master’s license in Maryland (Preferred: LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC)

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans
• Document significant client interactions and maintain accurate clinical records
• Track and report client progress
• Collaborate with other providers and staff to ensure comprehensive care
