About The Position

At Evolve Treatment Centers , we offer a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with compassionate care in a supportive, team-based environment. We are currently hiring a Mental Health Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to autistic teens with mental health and/or substance use struggles in our 6-bed residential program in Woodland Hills, CA . Evolve provides cutting-edge residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment programs for teens. Our clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Requirements

  • Active California registration as AMFT/ACSW/APCC (Licensed applicants LMFT/LCSW/LPCC also welcome)
  • Ability to pass LiveScan , federal/state background checks, and child abuse index clearances
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Valid Ca driver's license as you may be asked to assist at our other locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with autistic individuals is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary therapist for assigned clients and families throughout treatment.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions through a Neurodiversity Model of care.
  • Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups per week and document clinical notes accordingly.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments , Risk Assessments , and develop comprehensive Treatment Plans .
  • Participate in the on-call rotation , offering phone support and managing after-hours clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with the Utilization Review team to secure ongoing insurance authorization.
  • Support clients through discharge planning , including home contracts and after-care referrals.
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team and Psychiatry meetings , contributing clinical updates and insight.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Integrate Outcomes Program data into diagnosis and treatment planning.
