About The Position

The Mental Health Therapist participates in the clinical team by providing in office and telehealth counseling to our adult clients. The successful candidate maintains a therapeutic relationship with clients on his/her team in meeting the biopsychosocial needs of the client and collaborates with the treatment team to provide holistic whole person care to the client.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field preferred
• Requires a social work or counselor license recognized by the state of Ohio – i.e. LSW, LPC, MFT, LISW, LPCC or IMFT

Responsibilities

• Intake screening and orientation for new clients and guardians when applicable
• Providing mental health counseling using evidence based and trauma informed approaches of care to our adult clients
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning
• Participate in coordination of care with a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Provided group counseling as needed
• Meet or exceed agency required productivity and documentation standards
• Other duties as assigned
