About The Position

Under a board-approved supervisor, provides high quality, short-term, evidence-based clinical, therapeutic, and consultative services via telehealth and in-person to prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders in child and adolescent patients and their family members in WE CARE Clinic. WE CARE Clinic is an initiative of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), created by the 86th Texas Legislature to leverage the expertise and capacity of the health-related institutions of higher education to address child and adolescent mental health challenges and improve the mental health care system in the state of Texas.

Requirements

• LPC-associate licensure required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, short-term, evidence-based clinical, therapeutic, and consultative services via telehealth and in-person.
