We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist (MHT) to join our outpatient services in a joint appointment to Behavior and Attention Management (BAM) Program. BAM serves children and adolescents ages 5 to 12 with externalizing behavior issues, and most interventions are focused on parent management training, with limited treatment offered directly to children. The MHT will be part of the Disruptive Behavior Crisis Clinic team, offering parent management training to parents whose children are in crisis. The MHT will be providing consultation focused evaluations, and parent management training both individually and via group. Preferred candidates will have strong interest in working with parents of school aged children with primarily externalizing behaviors. The MHT will attend several weekly consultation meetings and work as part of a team of providers, delivering evidence-based treatment. Training in models of care will be provided. This position will primarily be virtual and may involve some days working in-person at the Magnuson campus of Seattle Children's Hospital in North Seattle. To help support equity in access to services, all team members are expected to be available at least 1 evening per week based on business need.
