About The Position

Provides patient care services to individuals with psychiatric and substance abuse disorder in the Intake Department. Works as a member of the initial intake evaluation team. These duties includes but are not limited to monitoring patients housed in intake rooms, performing vital signs on patients, performing contraband checks, and assisting patients during the transition to the inpatient units. Other duties will include assisting the evaluation counselors during peak periods. These duties will consist of answering incoming phone calls, working incoming referrals and collection of patient's personal items.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or its equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a CNA, psychiatric technician, or emergency medical technician required, or may be student in a nursing or health related area.
• If a CNA, certification required
