About The Position
View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED AND Six (6) months of experience in a related field; one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Health Aide 1 (HCS020) or position equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults in an inpatient facility.
- Experience and/or knowledge of DBT is preferred.
- Experience of at least one (1) year working with Dual Diagnosed (Substance Abuse/Mental Health) and or residential setting.
- Experience with interventions, diagnosing, Treatment Plans.
- Experience with Care Logic or other EMR.
- Comfortable and proficient with collaborative & concurrent documentation.
- Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills.
