Organization: Patient Safety Team Cohort 10 Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Performs duties of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse to help provide the psychological, emotional and physical care and support required by each patient.

Requirements

  • Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient documentation.
  • Patient Assessment (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient assessments.
  • Patient Diagnosis (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient diagnosis.
  • Environment of Care (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training working with set up and maintenance of patient exam rooms, supplies and equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant Work Experience Experience Level: Less than 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Carries out procedures under supervision of Registered Nurse including special precautions, Handle with Care skills and seclusion and restraint correctly and safely.
  • Documents all pertinent clinical information on a daily basis, including all unusual incidents.
  • Completes documentation for Seclusion/Restraint and Special Precautions accurately.
