Requirements
- High school graduate with two or more years of post-high school education, majoring in behavioral health, psychology, sociology, nursing, or other psychiatric/medical related program.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree
- Office experience
- 6+ months in the behavioral health field
Responsibilities
- Performs vital services in caring for personal needs and provision of comfort to patients and families
- Perform services in manners specific to the age of the patient population
- Functions as a member of the treatment team and performs specific patient care and program duties
- Responsibility for program implementation and milieu management
- Documents and records patient care including observation, protection, and charting provisions of personal care according to direction of registered nurse
- Assist in creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients
- Work is performed in accordance with established program documents, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the hospital and department.
- Works under supervision of a registered nurse
- Data entry skills
- Answering multiple phone system and retrieving voicemails
