Provide direct patient care to adults and adolescents will a wide variety of disorders to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Closely monitor patients and complete observation rounds using required safety protocols - Patient Safety is #1! Participate in treatment planning by helping to identify patients’ problems, needs and strengths Assist in the admission process, including obtaining vital signs, safety search of patients and personal belongings, obtaining urine specimens and orienting new patients to the unit and their program Plan, prepare, and deliver group therapy programs for patients Participate in hospital codes necessary to the unit’s safe operation. Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one year of direct work experience in a behavioral health environment including leading groups, de-escalating behaviors, and managing multiple clinical diagnoses is highly recommended.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred
  • Experience in an inpatient setting strongly preferred
