About The Position

The Mental Health Technician is a member of the interdisciplinary team on Inpatient Psychiatry whose duties include maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, documentation, and managing emergency situations. Duties are performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures under the direction and supervision of the nurse manager. Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Patient care experience and experience with mental health preferred
  • Must have full-time availability for first week of employment to attend orientations

Nice To Haves

  • AS or BS degree in mental health or human services related field preferred.
