The main purpose of the Skills Trainer (Mental Health Technician) role includes building rapport with clients (children and adolescents) and providing daily support and structure. You will provide skills training to clients to help them learn to manage their mental health symptoms, modeling, coaching, and counseling clients regarding appropriate hygiene, social, and interpersonal interactions. Flexible schedule opportunities are available for the shifts outlined below: Awake overnight shift (10pm-8am) with a $1.00/hour differential applies to this shift in addition to base pay. Day Shift (7am-5pm) most positions offer 3 consecutive days off. Swing (1pm-11pm) with a $1.00/hour differential applies to this shift in addition to base pay. Varied; On-Call Hours/Shifts, Part-time, and Full-time - excellent opportunity for students looking to obtain experience in the mental health field working with children. Hours worked in a secure unit are eligible for a $.50/hour differential. The starting rate of pay is $20.17/hour + unit/shift differential if applicable.
