About The Position
Perimeter Behavioral of West Memphis Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician/Youth Care Worker! This is a great entry-level position in psychology/behavioral health! Our Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following: Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift. Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient's behavior. Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients. Orient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skills. Provide a safe, clean and therapeutic environment. Provide physical restraint or intervention if appropriate. Training will be provided.
