Hourly rates from $16.00 - $24.78 per hour based on education and relevant experience + generous additional pay of $2.00 to $4.00 per hour depending on the day and shift. Our Behavioral Health Techs (BHT/MHT) use a TRAUMA INFORMED CARE APPROACH to working with adolescents. We will teach you how to apply these principles in an effective and positive manner so you can help us change lives!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED; Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, in a human service field or working toward a degree.
• MUST be at least 21 years of age or older to apply.
• MUST be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen.

• Consistency - being a dependable and consistent presence that our residents can count on.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with psycho-educational groups, physical activities, therapeutic and scholastic assignments.
• Coaching pro social skills by modeling healthy relationship building skills.
• Compassionate listening and re-directing negativity to ensure the resident feels safe.
• Consistent engagement and supervision of the residents to ensure safety and provide routines.
