JOBSUMMARY: We are seeking aMental HealthTechnicianto join our healthcare team.Yourprimary function istoassistin the coordination of nursing/psychiatric care provided in conjunction with the multidisciplinary treatment team.You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
BLS within90 days of employment required
One year of experience preferred

Nice To Haves

2 Year Associates Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Observe, report, and document patient's physiological and psychological statusbyusing the nursing processbaseduponestablished hospital policies and procedures, unit specific policies and procedures, and/or Standards of Care/Practice.
Provide and document information on patient care.
Assist patients with activities of daily living; attend to patient behavioral problems and provides assistance in crisis intervention, as needed.
Serve as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patients right to privacy by protecting confidential information.
Follow established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient's care which results in patient harm or potential harm.
