About The Position
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) at ACI Northwest Center for Behavioral Health provides compassionate, non-professional direct or indirect care for consumers in an inpatient setting. Under close supervision, the MHT participates in de-escalation activities, ensures consumer safety, and serves as a role model by demonstrating effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. The role includes monitoring consumers, assisting in recreational and therapeutic activities, and maintaining accurate patient records.
