Mental Health Technician / Driver Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM High Focus Centers, formerly Onward Behavioral Health, is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team in Lansdale. We provide high-quality outpatient treatment for individuals facing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders, and have built a strong reputation across eastern Pennsylvania for delivering exceptional care to both adolescents and adults. Position Overview As a Mental Health Technician, you will play an essential role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients. This position includes direct client interaction as well as operational support to ensure daily programming runs smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related field
Previous experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting

Responsibilities

Monitor, observe, and engage with clients in a supportive and professional manner
Transport clients to and from programming as needed
Support clinical and program staff with daily operations
Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including assisting during crisis situations
Reinforce treatment goals and support implementation of individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with team members through verbal updates and written documentation
Attend team meetings, site meetings, and required trainings
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
Observe and report client behaviors and needs to the clinical team
Help orient new clients to the program and daily structure
Complete general support tasks such as stocking supplies and coordinating program needs
Engage with clients during meals and downtime to promote a positive, therapeutic community
Ensure appropriate client supervision at all times
Maintain professional boundaries and uphold a supportive environment
Perform other duties as assigned
