Mental Health Technician / Driver Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM High Focus Centers, formerly Onward Behavioral Health, is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team in Lansdale. We provide high-quality outpatient treatment for individuals facing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders, and have built a strong reputation across eastern Pennsylvania for delivering exceptional care to both adolescents and adults. Position Overview As a Mental Health Technician, you will play an essential role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients. This position includes direct client interaction as well as operational support to ensure daily programming runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related field
  • Previous experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, observe, and engage with clients in a supportive and professional manner
  • Transport clients to and from programming as needed
  • Support clinical and program staff with daily operations
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including assisting during crisis situations
  • Reinforce treatment goals and support implementation of individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with team members through verbal updates and written documentation
  • Attend team meetings, site meetings, and required trainings
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
  • Observe and report client behaviors and needs to the clinical team
  • Help orient new clients to the program and daily structure
  • Complete general support tasks such as stocking supplies and coordinating program needs
  • Engage with clients during meals and downtime to promote a positive, therapeutic community
  • Ensure appropriate client supervision at all times
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold a supportive environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
