Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician/Youth Care Worker. Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent is required.
At least one (1) year of related experience in an assisted living, residential, or hospital setting.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Educational or work experience in psychology, human service, nursing, or social work environments is preferred.
Psychiatric experience preferred or (1) year experience as a Corpsman in the Military.

Responsibilities

Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift.
Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient’s behavior.
Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients.
Orient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skills.
Provide a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.
Provide physical restraint or intervention if appropriate. Training will be provided.
