About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician 1 to join the Psychiatry team. This role is Full-time varied schedule night Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Requirements

• Education: High School or GED
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association- upon start

Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Technician 1 assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Collaborates with care team members in implementing a plan of care to meet individualized and developmental patient care outcomes.
• Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide team members with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
