Our 62-bed Behavioral Health Unit is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses. Our recovery-oriented program provides opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative care environment. 62-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Center Adult Psych Unit (ages 18- 64) Geriatric Psych Unit (ages 65 and older.) (Patients in this unit requires assistance with all aspects of daily living -Total Care) Intensive Outpatient Program ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) New Graduate Program for RN’s passionate about Behavioral Health
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- Crisis Prevention within 60 Days Required
- No experience required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health sciences Preferred
- experience in Behavioral health and/or addictive disease Preferred
Responsibilities
- Supports the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of the highest quality healthcare to include individualized patient and family-centered, holistic and supportive care in a save and caring environment.
- This position provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care and interaction to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment with assistance from other healthcare members.
- This person functions as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by the policies and procedures of Piedmont Behavioral Health.
