About The Position

Piedmont Eastside is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians for its 62-bed Behavioral Health Unit, which includes an Adult Psych Unit (ages 18-64) and a Geriatric Psych Unit (ages 65 and older) where patients require total care for daily living. The unit also offers an Intensive Outpatient Program and ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy). Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
No experience required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
Crisis Prevention within 60 Days

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health sciences
Experience in Behavioral health and/or addictive disease

Responsibilities

Supports the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of the highest quality healthcare to include individualized patient and family-centered, holistic and supportive care in a safe and caring environment.
Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Provides care and interaction to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment with assistance from other healthcare members.
Functions as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by the policies and procedures of Piedmont Behavioral Health.
