About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Assists Psychiatry Services, nursing staff with patient preparation and treatment procedures, both acute and non-acute illnesses or injuries. Performs routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment. Assists in maintaining the therapeutic milieu by utilizing appropriate communication skills. Performs clerical duties associated with patient care management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required.
• One year of equivalent experience is required.
• Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card.

Nice To Haves

• Three years experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience and notary public preferred.
