Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Demonstrated competency in BLS required upon hire and maintained.
  • C.N.A preferred.
  • Prefer one year of inpatient psychiatric experience.
  • Medical Terminology and clerical background preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to and close supervision of psychiatric patients.
  • Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient vital signs throughout the cycle of care.
  • Document and report any physical or behavioral changes at time of occurrence.
  • Actively participate as part of the treatment team, following facility policies and procedures.
