About The Position

The MHT (Milieu Manager) is responsible for the safety of patients. on the units. The Milieu Manager teaches new tools for staff to use when working with patients and ensures appropriate & evidence based practice care by staff, to promote positive outcomes with patients. The Milieu Manager ensures staff provide a safe and therapeutic Milieu, crisis intervention, education groups, and ensures staff encourages all patients attend their activities of daily.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Psychiatric Inpatient Setting providing training; or any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office.
• Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and CPI training, CPR Trainer preferred.
