The position involves performing delegated tasks to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes rounding and ensuring that patient safety practices are followed, as well as reporting any concerns to the nurse or leadership. The individual will provide and document care to patients in accordance with the treatment plan and established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work. The position functions in a supportive role by communicating findings and resolving work-related issues. The use of de-escalation and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques is essential. Additionally, the individual will monitor mental health behaviors and report concerns to the nurse or leadership. Other job-related duties may be assigned by the Nurse Manager or Department Director.
