Responsible for delivering paraprofessional mental health care under direct supervision. This role involves facilitating therapeutic group processes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, assisting clients in structuring their lives therapeutically, and providing community-based mental health care while considering safety, patient rights, and comfort. The specialist will implement age-appropriate interventions based on the master treatment plan, document client responses, identify and intervene in thought patterns and behaviors associated with psychiatric diagnoses, and provide assistance to clients' family members. Additionally, the position includes performing basic medical tasks, assisting clients with activities of daily living, potentially transporting and supervising clients, and organizing recreational activities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions are essential.
