Job Summary : Assigned to a regional K-12 caseload, this position, under the direction of the Director(s) of Student Services or designee, provides support to students and families in social-emotional or mental health needs. Duties are performed at multiple schools throughout the district.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience providing case management and therapeutic services to children and adolescents.
  • Master’s degree in behavior science or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of supervised postgraduate experience leading to full licensure.
  • Washington State License as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable means of transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience providing mental health services in a school based setting, including BIPOC and LGBTQ populations.
  • Knowledge and skills in treating children and adolescents with mental health disorders including depressive disorders, eating disorders, conduct disorders and ADD/ADHD.
