Dungarvin is hiring Mental Health Specialist 2 (MHS2) professionals for direct care roles in communities across Minnesota, focusing on mental health support and behavior management. Since 1976, Dungarvin has been dedicated to providing person-centered supports to help individuals live as independently as possible, working with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. The Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) group homes support individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs, many of whom have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. These homes are designed for safety, offering a consistent, person-centered approach to help individuals reach their goals while maintaining safety for everyone. Staff receive training in behavioral support and crisis response, including manual restraints when necessary. The role may involve exposure to verbal aggression or difficult behaviors, with strong training and team support provided. As a Mental Health Specialist II, you will play a hands-on role in helping people lead more independent, stable lives.
