About The Position

At Dungarvin, we’re not just a company—we’re a close-knit team of dedicated professionals focused on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges. We take a person-centered approach to helping the individuals we serve lead fulfilling, independent lives, and we’re looking for compassionate, driven Mental Health Specialist II’s (MHS II) to help make this mission a reality. These are caregiver positions with an emphasis on mental health and behavior management supports. The Mental Health Specialist II (MHS2) work in our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) programs, which serve individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs. The persons receiving these services have many characteristics such as previously placed in a highly restricted facility, high incidence of crisis situations, and multiple hospitalizations. Consistency and routine are key factors in the proven success of these programs. MHS2's are provided training for manual restraints and will experience mental, emotional, and physical manipulation from the person we support.
