Johnson County Mental Health Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to serve in a Float Nurse role. This position provides nursing coverage and clinical support across both residential and outpatient clinic settings. Daily location assignments will vary based on operational needs. Schedule Four 10-hour shifts per week: 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Rotating schedule:o Week 1: Monday through Thursdayo Week 2: Wednesday through Saturday This schedule supports both clinic and residential program coverage. The Float Nurse (RN) functions in both residential crisis services and outpatient mental health clinic settings. This role works closely with psychiatrists, clinicians, case managers, direct care staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to meet the mental health and medical needs of clients.The nurse must demonstrate flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt to varying environments and acuity levels.
