About The Position
The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Telecare continues to advance cultural diversity, humility, equity, and inclusion at all levels of our organization by hiring mental health peers, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and all belief systems. The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 16-bed facility serving residents 19+ who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness, and are currently experiencing mental-health-related difficulties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years course work and 2 years training / experience or 2 years’ lived experience
- Must attend CPI training
Responsibilities
- Provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served
- Provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards
- Assist with de-escalation as needed
