Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day shift No weekends Job Description: Accountable for provider practice within the Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line. Responsible for operationalizing optimal provider staffing, including recruiting, onboarding, coordinating templates, schedules, and call schedules, sometimes across business units. Partners with and provide support to the clinical leader(s) within designated service area or region. Responsible for leading assigned improvement projects and maximizing efficiency of provider staffing to ensure delivery of efficient, safe, and compassionate patient care in a cost effective manner. Analyzes and synthesizes data relevant to provider practice and work with clinical leaders to create effective delivery models. Builds and maintains relationships with providers and business unit managers and directors to ensure that the patient care needs are met in an effective manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management health care administration, or relevant field
  • 2+ years of relevant performance improvement and/or project management experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

  • 2+ years experience managing projects in a health care environment

Responsibilities

  • Assesses and analyzes provider staffing and make recommendations to clinical leaders on matrixed staffing models to meet patient care needs across sites, may include oversight of vendor contracted providers.
  • Oversight of clinical area(s) to ensure appropriate patient access.
  • Participates in the recruitment and responsible for coordinating onboarding of providers.
  • Supports provider practice, ensuring providers have equipment, tools and resources to do their work.
  • Leads project management for identified key initiatives in area of responsibility, partnering with lead physician.
  • Collaborates with team and partners to create and participate in a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • May lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for supporting the level of care model by implementing operational components and providing necessary provider information and data to clinical leaders.
  • Manages operating expenses and productivity for overall performance by analyzing data and presenting to clinical leaders.
  • Compiles, reviews and analyzes dashboards and reporting templates to highlight performance, including variances on key performance indicators, such as provider productivity, patient experience, and quality data.
