The Bethel Health Center is seeking to hire a licensed mental health therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) or registered associate. The Bethel Health Center provides an integrated model of mental and physical health care to students in the Bethel School District. The Bethel Health Center will provide the independent contractor use of the electronic health record and will manage scheduling and billing for client services. COMPENSATION: $72,967.04 - $81,990.40 per school year, depending on experience, licensure and hours worked CONTRACT DAYS: Approximately 184 days per full school year (10 months) Full Time or Part Time hours available Summer Hours available if desired Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in mental health field. Clinical experience with children, youth, and families. Job summary : This position is on-site at the Bethel Health Center and Bethel Schools, working in collaboration with the nurse practitioner and our mental health team. The qualified candidate will provide mental health treatment including consultation, assessment, and ongoing treatment to K-12 students and their families. The Bethel Health Center follows the school schedule and is also open several days during the summer. Job expectations : Provide mental health supports to students, families, and staff Access mental health community resources to support students and families Adhere to mental health grant requirements, School Based Health Center best practices, and standards required by the Oregon Health Authority School Based Health Centers Program and the Addictions and Mental Health Program Ability to use or to be trained in required technology, including the electronic health record Able to work calmly in stressful situations Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Able to work harmoniously with students, parents, staff, and administrators Able to apply FERPA and HIPAA confidentiality laws Able to lift 20 lbs. Maintain professional liability insurance Utilize evidence-based, strengths-based, culturally appropriate approach Language(s) required: English, bilingual preferred Meet all standards and expectations of professional licensure board Job duties include, but are not limited to: Provide individual and family therapy counseling Maintain the ability to pre-teach/teach skills and strategies to youth through prevention, education, and outreach as needed Provide crisis intervention and response (Including suicide screening, assessment, and safety planning) Coordinate behavioral health consultation and care coordination with nurse practitioner Meet data and metrics required for grants, as appropriate Provide case management, resource and referral, and advocacy services Participate in meetings, committees, trainings, workgroups and conferences, as appropriate Complete charting in a timely manner Apply mental health insurance billing systems and regulations Conduct groups and/or skill building classes, as indicated Offer support and assistance, as needed, in crisis situation in schools Other duties as identified For information regarding this position, please email Brooke Cottle, Bethel Health Center Director, at [email protected] .
