The Mental Health Promoter (MHP) works to ensure the integration of services across target service areas within Supervisory Districts 1 & 2 (SPA 4 & 6) to strengthen communities, build trauma-resiliency and link community members to relevant services. This position will be responsible for outreach and advocacy for healthy and racially equitable communities by facilitating trauma resiliency groups, providing referral/linkage for target populations, and collaboration with community partners and Department of Mental Health. Leads non-traditional workshops to enhance emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of target populations. Duties may vary based on the needs of the department, service area lead and/or supervisorial district.
