About The Position

As a Clinical Mental Health Functional Family Therapist, you'll leverage your skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the established Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model, providing in-home counseling services to effectively address the needs of our clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service or a closely related field
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a closely related field

  • Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
  • Marital therapy using behaviorally-based approaches

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes, assessment of systemic strengths and needs, comprehensive safety plan, and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviors
  • Carry a caseload of 10-12 clients
  • Engage the entire family unit in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement
  • Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, case outcome review, and strategy revision procedure
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT model
  • Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT treatment
  • Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT model
  • Participate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activities
