About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at RMC - Reception and Medical Center located at: 7765 S CR 231 Lake Butler, Florida 32054-0628. The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy. The position is from 8am-4:30pm; Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, SW or MH Registered Interns.
• Must have active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of two years experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care.
• Conduct intake and assessments.
• Perform crisis intervention.
• Develop treatment plans.
