About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Community Mental Health on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting individuals with memory difficulties, delivering person-centred occupational therapy interventions within a community setting.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within community or mental health services (Memory Service experience desirable)
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a part-time caseload
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for individuals accessing the Memory Service
- Support patients to maintain independence and function in daily activities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to assessment, care planning, and reviews
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in line with service requirements
