About The Position

The Mental Health Nurse (RN/LPN) at Redell Davis Behavioral Health is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned behavioral health patients on the Geri Psych unit during their shift. The RN manages all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment, promoting collaboration with all members of the healthcare team. As a Care Team Leader, the RN develops a work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for the care partner. The position operates on a PRN basis with a day shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM as needed.

Requirements

• NC Board of Nursing (NCBON) licensure - evidence of the individual's NCBON license is required.
• RN or LPN qualification.
• BSN preferred.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification at the time of hire from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• De-escalation training within 30 days.
