About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor/Therapist to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving mental health outcomes and providing empathetic, person-centered therapeutic services. As a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals through various challenges and helping them achieve improved mental well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions to clients, addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. - Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with clients, based on their unique needs and goals. - Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the most appropriate counseling strategies and interventions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards. - Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatments and integrate evidence-based practices into therapy sessions. - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. - Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations as needed. - Provide education and resources to clients and their families to promote understanding and management of mental health conditions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proven experience in mental health counseling or therapy, with a focus on diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to provide culturally competent care.
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions.
