Why ReDiscover? 700+ dedicated professionals Over five decades of community impact A culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growth About the Urgent Care Program The Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUCC) is the first program of it's kind in the Kansas City area that provides the community immediate, same-day access to psychiatric medication for mental health and substance use needs. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the BHUCC team provides care to clients every day of the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the client's and community's needs. What You'll Do Evaluate client’s mental health condition based on the review of client information, including bio-psycho-social assessments, psychological evaluation, and diagnostics. Collect information about the client through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports. Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans for the client(s) being served.

Requirements

• Availability to work a full-time schedule, (40-hours a week), Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-9:00pm, and every other Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
• Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.
• Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Microsoft Teams.

Nice To Haves
