This position is for a Mental Health Clinician / Therapist in the Inpatient Crisis Residential Unit, located in Merced, CA. The role involves preparing comprehensive psychosocial evaluations, providing individual and group therapy, and coordinating treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team. The facility operates 24/7 and serves adults aged 18-59, offering rehabilitation and recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults.
• BBS Registered: APCC, ACSW, AMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment on assigned clients.
• Responsible for assessing client's readiness for admission and coordination planning with treatment team.
• Responsible for assessing client's readiness for discharge and coordination planning with treatment team.
• Provides individual group therapy to clients on a weekly basis and as needed.
• Interprets facility policies and procedures to clients and family members.
• Actively participates in treatment team meetings and develops coordinated treatment plans.
