About The Position

The Mental Health Clinician I position at the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Pueblo is designed to provide therapeutic care and treatment for adults and adolescents suffering from acute and chronic mental illnesses. Requirements

• Management RN License in Colorado.
• Fluency in English.
• Three years of relevant experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients to support their psychiatric recovery.
• Facilitate group sessions and individual patient interactions as assigned by the charge RN.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, physical condition, and responses to treatment.
• Assist in designing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement processes at the unit level.
