About The Position

The Mental Health Clinical Therapist II position is located at 901 W Kirchhoff Rd. Arlington Heights, IL. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with hours varying based on departmental needs. The therapist will report to the Director of LOMG Counseling Services and/or LOMG Practice Manager, providing quality clinical therapeutic services to patient populations and their families/significant others in a physician office or other settings. The Clinical Therapist will be a member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy to ensure the delivery of quality treatment. Additionally, the role includes orienting and mentoring new staff to the program.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related program required; Psy D. preferred.
• Current State of Illinois License with a minimum of four letters (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) required.
• Current CPR certification.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical therapeutic services to patients and their families/significant others.
• Support the organization's treatment program and philosophy.
• Orient and mentor new staff to the program.
