About The Position

The Mental Health Clinical Director/Program Manager at New Alternatives, Inc. is responsible for leading a clinical team dedicated to providing mental health services to youth aged 11-18 in a residential setting. This role involves creating and developing therapeutic programming, managing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support trauma survivors and their families. Requirements

• Current California RN, LCSW, MTF, LPCC license.
• 2 years of experience working with a similar population.
• 18 months of clinical supervision hours toward licensure.
• Past leadership/management/supervision experience.
• Experience providing mental health services to children and families in the Child Welfare System.
• Understanding of complex trauma and its impact on children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care (TIC).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of six program staff to ensure program success.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
• Train and provide supervision to clinicians and mental health workers to meet clinical service standards.
• Ensure compliance with documentation procedures based on the SOW and OPOH.
• Attend agency trainings and ensure staff are trained in evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical leadership consultation and oversight.
• Facilitate effective implementation of clinical frameworks and evidence-based curriculum.
