Position Highlights: Position: Assessment Specialist I Location: LOH Full Time Hours: variable 8a-6:30p, 10a-8:30p What you will do: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health status using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews. Collect and analyze relevant patient information, including medical history, social factors, and environmental factors. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate accurate diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. Establish rapport with patients and their families to create a supportive and therapeutic environment. Communicate assessment findings and treatment recommendations effectively and empathetically. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute mental health crises. Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, evaluations, and patient interactions in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations. Prepare concise and comprehensive assessment reports for clinicians and treatment teams. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide consultation and guidance to staff on mental health-related issues and best practices.
