Mental Health Advocate - Full Time
About The Position
HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time Mental Health Advocates! We are currently prioritizing applications for the overnight shift (11pm - 7:30am). HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. Requirements
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's Degree in human services field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical Fitness - Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working with patient in acute psychiatric distress

Responsibilities
- Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units
- Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
- Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
- Assist with patient groups and activities
