About The Position

HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time Mental Health Advocates for the day and evening shift! Shifts include Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, and Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am. Shift differentials are available for evening (+$1.25/Hour), night (+$2.00/Hour), and weekend shifts (+$1.50/Hour). HRI Hospital is a 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. Requirements

• High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in human services field preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Physical Fitness – Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working with patients in acute psychiatric distress

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units
• Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities
