About The Position

The Men's Locker Room Attendant at the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-supplied locker room environment for members. This role involves greeting and assisting members, ensuring amenities are stocked, and contributing to the overall security and cleanliness of the locker room. The attendant will also perform various housekeeping tasks and promote locker rental advantages to members.

Requirements

• Fluency in English language.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Preferably with prior customer service experience.
• Eye for cleanliness and housekeeping experience.
• Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move, lift, and/or pull supply boxes and other items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service the members' needs with genuine care.
• Maintain the coffee station and the entire locker room in a clean and pristine manner.
• Ensure all amenities work well, and supplies are fully stocked and readily available.
• Make sure fruit and snack baskets are always full.
• Wipe down counters, wash cutting boards and knives with detergent after each use.
• Wipe down and straighten benches.
• Walk continuously down the aisles to check for blinds' proper alignment.
• Ensure telephones are wiped and disinfected daily, and check for pencil and paper in each telephone station.
• Report and check for any mildew stains beneath soap dispensers, shower curtains, and general wet areas.
• Check for toilet paper and toilet seat covers in each stall, ensuring the area is clean and disinfected at all times.
• Contribute to the overall security of the locker room and safety of the members.
• Shoe shining and performing other duties and tasks as needed.
• Promote locker rental advantages to new and existing members.
• Ensure that laundry bags don't have any holes or defects before sending them to the laundry for washing.
